What is shreek 2?

Shrek 2 is a 2004 American animated comedy film directed by Andrew Adamson, Kelly Asbury, and Conrad Vernon. It is the sequel to 2001's Shrek and the second installment in the Shrek film franchise. The film features the original cast reprising their roles, including Mike Myers as Shrek, Cameron Diaz as Princess Fiona, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, and John Lithgow as Lord Farquaad (in a cameo).

In Shrek 2, the newlywed Shrek and Fiona return to the kingdom of Far Far Away to meet her parents, who are unaware that their daughter has married an ogre. Along the way, they encounter new characters such as Puss in Boots, a sword-wielding cat hired by Fiona's father to take out Shrek, and Fairy Godmother, who has her own sinister plans for the couple.

The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $919 million worldwide and becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time until it was surpassed by Finding Nemo in 2005. It was also nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and won the BAFTA Award for Best Animated Film.
